Gote Barn midsummer wedding

A warm bright summer wedding celebration at the gorgeous Gote Barn in Ringmer, just outside Lewes, a beautiful rustic grade II listed barn with features dating back to the 1600s. The barn is located within a working farm with glorious views of the surrounding Sussex downs. I loved the colour palette of this wedding - dreamy corals, peaches, soft pinks and a hint of bright orange and yellow. Colours that exude joy and happiness, just as a wedding should!

The flowers included the most amazing Coral Charm peonies, vintage style garden roses as well as my favourite Miss Piggy roses, delphiniums, snapdragons, ammi, calendula, feverfew daisies and craspedia to provide a pop of bright yellow. The milk churns provided a lovely backdrop for the ceremony as well as a little nod to the farm’s heritage raising Jersey cows and were easily movable to the courtyard area later to frame the barn entrance for the drinks and meal reception.
