Terms and Conditions.

Quotation and payment
Bryony Mae Flowers offers a free one-hour initial consultation to discuss your ideas and requirements. Following this consultation, a mood board and proposal including itemised costs for your wedding flowers will be sent to you by email.
A second meeting (face-to-face or by phone) is available to you, usually about a month before your wedding day to finalise details, delivery times etc. You are free to make changes to your order up until 4 weeks before your wedding day. If you require any additional meetings or site visits, these may be chargeable at an hourly rate. You will receive a final invoice approximately 6 weeks before your wedding date and payment in full is required no less than 4 weeks before your wedding day. Final payments are payable by bank transfer.

Booking fee
On receipt of the proposal the date will be reserved for 2 weeks, subject to confirmation and the receipt of a £200 booking fee. This booking fee is non-refundable and is deducted from your final invoice. Booking fees are payable by bank transfer. At the end of this 2 week period, without confirmation and receipt of booking fee, the date will be released and available to be booked by others.

Availability and variation of flowers
While we will work with you to establish the flowers that you would like included in your arrangements, we do not guarantee specific flowers. In the event of supply difficulties or quality concerns, we reserve the right to substitute a previously agreed ingredient or component within a design with an alternative of equivalent value and quality without notice. This includes specific flowers, plants and sundries that may not be available. Flowers and plants are natural products and colours may differ slightly to those agreed.

Hire items
Charges will be made for any damage to items (e.g. glassware, china) hired from Bryony Mae Flowers or via a third party. Replacement of goods is charged at the current purchase price. It is the responsibility of the hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault. Hired equipment remains the property of Bryony Mae Flowers at all times.

Set up
On setting up a venue it is the responsibility of the client to make sure access and parking is available near the venue. Any parking charges may be chargeable. To enjoy your day we will endeavour to be off site one hour before your event starts. It is vital to ensure that we have access at suitable times in order to do this smoothly.

Transportation
Your final quotation will include delivery to agreed locations and any set up required for agreed arrangements. Any further changes to delivery locations or set up requirements may incur additional charges. Transportation of any arrangements from one venue to another by anybody other than Bryony Mae Flowers is done at your own risk and we take no responsibility.

Looking after your flowers
All arrangements will be delivered in prime condition on your wedding day, in suitable packaging to maximise longevity. It is the responsibility of the client to make sure the flowers are then kept in optimum conditions according to the florist’s instructions. Bryony Mae Flowers cannot be held responsible for any failures in the flowers if these instructions have not been adhered to. If required, we can supply vases so that you can keep arrangements in water as much as possible, these must be booked in advance.

Photography
Bryony Mae Flowers reserves the right to take photographs of arrangements and the setting prior to the event, which may be used for promotional purposes including on the Bryony Mae Flowers social media accounts and on our website www.bryonymaeflowers.co.uk

Cancellation
In the unfortunate event of cancellation, the booking fee cannot be refunded. Complete cancellation of the wedding must be advised in writing. In the unlikely event that Bryony Mae Flowers has to cancel for unavoidable circumstances (for example in the event of a fire, natural disaster, death, serious family illness or tragedy) all money paid by the client will be repaid. Bryony Mae Flowers is only responsible for refunding money paid, and not for any further costs that may be incurred. All reasonable efforts will be made by Bryony Mae Flowers to find a replacement florist option, to be paid for by the client.

There are no refunds for cancellations of individual items after the final balance has been paid, unless by the agreement of both parties. Cancellations made less than two weeks before the wedding date may forfeit full payment if Bryony Mae Flowers has ordered flowers and the order cannot be cancelled.

Hazards
Some plant and flower varieties can cause skin reactions or allergies and be harmful if ingested. For young bridesmaids and page boys please make them aware of the dangers of eating any of the elements in their flowers or buttonholes. Bryony Mae Flowers cannot accept responsibility for any adverse reactions.

Adverse weather conditions
Should there unfortunately be adverse weather (e.g. heavy rain, high winds, thunderstorms) on the day of your wedding, the final decision on the safe installation of arrangements will be with Bryony Mae Flowers. We reserve the right to not install any arrangements that we deem to be unsafe on the day.

Buttonholes and corsages
Pinning of buttonholes and corsages onto dresses and suits is done at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for any snagging, tearing or staining caused by fastenings that we supply.

Force Majeure
Bryony Mae Flowers cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver any order due to an Act of God, terrorism, crime, transport failure, illnesses of staff members, extreme weather conditions (including snow and flooding) or denial of access to venues.

Complaints
Any complaints must be made in writing to Bryony Mae Flowers within 24 hours of delivery, along with photographic evidence. No responsibility can be taken with regards to poor condition once arrangements have been approved
