Spring wedding inspiration: Brighton city elopement photoshoot

It was such fun to work on this elopement style shoot for a photography workshop with Rebecca Carpenter Photography at Thrive 22 hosted by Photography Farm for wedding photographers - from everything I saw it looked like an absolute blast. And Brighton just seems to lend itself to the spontaneous, romantic (and illicit) moments!

Rebecca wanted soft muted tones of pink and white to complement the gorgeous dress from Dress Dream Bridal and although I’m big colour lover, it was a wonderful challenge to use this simple colour palette and allow the flowers textures and subtle shades to be the focus. The bouquet was made of beautiful seasonal blooms including Kloon Hanoi ranunculus, pale pink spray roses, ruffly carnations and my favourite spring filler, spirea, with just the tinest amount of eucalyptus to frame and provide a little shape.

Who needs roses to do luxury?
