The Green Escape spring bluebell wood wedding

There is nothing like an English bluebell wood in full bloom! After a long cold (and here in Sussex - muddy) winter, the sight of carpets of hazy blue flowers transforming the woods is a truly magical one. It’s one of my spring highlights and the fleeting nature of it, only adds to the joy.

And so I was thrilled to be asked to provide flowers for this bluebell inspired styled shoot and selected beautiful spring flowers like anemones and ranunculus to compliment the natural beauty of the season and the colours of the woods. I kept the style loose and flowing with a natural bridal bouquet, vintage ceramic bud vases for the table and a ceremony area with a floral arch and pots of bluebells, fircones and moss to line the aisle.

The venue, The Green Escape an exclusive hire glamping site is perfect for free spirited couples looking for an intimate woodland wedding surrounded by nature. A warm welcome awaits any couples choosing this site for their wedding celebrations.

Working with a fantastic team of suppliers, we wanted to create an eco conscious, bohemian wedding, where two adventurous souls could tie the knot immersed in nature.
